“ Update: The food here is excellent. The jerk chicken is absolutely amazing but if you can, order directly from the restaurant. Don't use doordash or any food delivery app. Tony's does a very poor job at interfacing with customers though the doordash app. They would run out of popular items but the doordash app would not reflect it and you'll end up not receiving what you order. The beef pattie and oxtail are just okay but that jerk chicken is the best I ever had ever, anywhere. Update: after trying other Caribbean/Jamaican restaurants through out the rest of my travels, I just wanted to come back and say Tony jerk chicken night be the best in the whole wide world. I was only here for a short while for school and I was ordering from Tony at least 2x a week. I would visit Connecticut just to eat here. It's worth the travel. ”
“ You wouldn't know it by the simple look of the place but the food is phenomenal, an absolute favourite and something I go out of my way to get. The meat is fall off the bone tender and packed with flavor. The jerk chicken is easily the spiciest thing I enjoy fully. Sides are yummy and the portion size means you can easily share one meal or you'll likely have leftovers. ”

Since I have started trying different spots I can say out of like a half dozen spots between here and Hartford and Boston this one was the best tasting and the best value. “ I had not eaten Jamacian food in many years before coming to Tony's about a month ago. My first meal from there was jerk chicken and cabbage. The chicken fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Spiced perfectly. The cabbage became a must-have at first bite. Since then, I have had dumplings, corn porridge, some baked goods, and the rice. Nothing will ever disappoint from there. Tony and his wife are so pleasant, it's always a great experience when I go in. ”
